The Volunteer Center of North Texas is currently recruiting Team Leaders for 2010!  Project Team Leaders are volunteers who take that extra step to become leaders in their community!

We are recruiting for the HandsOn Program, our new Youth Volunteer Corps, and general project support for the Volunteer Center.  Volunteers will be required to attend one training and be able to pass a background check if they wish to volunteer with Youth Volunteer Corps. 

Current Need: Project Team Leaders are needed as soon as possible for our MLK Day of Service.  A special training has been set aside and will be announced shortly. 

Current Training Dates:

• Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10am - 12pm
• Saturday, July 31, 2010 from 10am - 12pm
• Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 10am - 12pm
• Other trainings to be announced

Volunteers will be e-mailed a full description of the position but in general will be expected to assist staff project managers in the running of volunteer projects and recruitment of volunteers.  

This event is managed by the Volunteer Center of North Texas. You will be contacted by a representative from us within 7 business days.  This is an on-going need with multiple dates.  If not contacted within 7 days please e-mail handson@vcnt.org. 

The age limit for this project varies by department; however, you must be a minimum of 16 or older to apply.
